West and central Asia has such a rich history! Assyrian, Hittites, Sumerians, Babylonians! Such intiguing and mysterious names.
Apart from Iran, the neighboring Iraq also has a rich heritage but sadly lots of them have been destroyed by war. Hopefully Iran at least preserves it and don’t follow the footsteps of the Talibans.
